NCMP will be hosting a $5000 to win Yamaha Junior Sportsman and Yamaha Junior race during the Robopong 200 weekend on October 13th and 14th with optional practice available on Friday October 12th.
Track configuration is the National Track layout. Both classes will qualify on Saturday and run a 15 lap prefinal. Both classes will race a 30 lap final on Sunday morning before the start of the Robopong 200. One driver, no pitstops.
General Rules –
Yamaha Sportsman Drivers, 8-12 years old. (Age cutoff per WKA rules)
Yamaha Junior Drivers, 12-15 years old. (Age cutoff per WKA rules)
If your driver is eligible for either Yamaha class due to their age, you must pick one class or the other.
Entry is $150.00 per class.
Yamaha Sportsman Weight - 250 lbs.
Yamaha Junior Weight - 310 lbs.
Both Yamaha classes must use NCMP track fuel. More infroamtion on oil will be coming soon, all permitted oils will be available at NCMP.
Both classes will run Bridgestone YLC tires. Yamaha Sportsman 450x5 tires all around, Yamaha Junior 450x5 fronts, 600x5 rears. Both classes will qualify and race on the same set of tires.
All karts will be subject to tire, fuel and engine tech.
Both Yamaha classes will have a cap of 50 entries each. Entries received after September 21st will be subject to a late fee.
Qualifying will be three laps. A green, green, white, checkered. We will split each class into multiple groups for qualifying.
