Do you have to be a member to practice or race?
For NCMP open practice, absolutely not. We charge $25.00 per driver for all day practice for Non-KRA Members, KRA Members pay $22.00. When it comes to KRA Series races you do NOT have to be a member to race, members receive year end points, non-members are eligible for raceday awards but not year end points.
Some clubs that run at NCMP may require a temporary membership for their events, this does not include KRA races.
What is the story on the oval/small road course track?
NCMP hopes to have the oval/small road course paved by July 07. The oval track will be a paved track, we will not have a dirt track and no dirt track is currently planned.
Do you offer rental karts to walk in customers?

I need a part for this weekend, can I get it at NCMP?
Comet Kart Sales has a small onsite parts shop open for all events at NCMP. You can call Comet’s main location and prepay to have a part brought to NCMP or you can call the track and see if it is in stock, either way we can have it waiting for you when you arrive!
What about track food?
NCMP has a complete onsite restaurant, The Racer’s Grill. Not just hot dogs and burgers, Racer’s Grill also serves salads, chicken wraps, pasta salad, catering for your team or corporate event, steak dinners complete with sides and more! We can put together a complete menu for your event with any kind of food you wish. The Racer’s Grill is also typically open for lunch on Friday's and Saturday's (and all racedays) for hungry karters and renters with a large menu of favorite dishes.
Do you offer driving schools?
Yes we can offer driving schools to new karters and karters looking for an edge, please contact the track for information.
Does NCMP have internet access?
Yes! The Racer's Grill restaurant has Wireless Internet hooked to our DSL connection! If you have a Wireless Card you can sign on to the internet at NCMP!
How can I see live timing on my laptop?
Yes, you have to have a computer with a wireless network card though. First you have to download a small program called rmonitor - click here to download. Start rmonitor after it installs and click on settings > communications, then click on TCP-IP and enter 192.168.1.101 in the IP address box and leave 50000 in the port number box. Now go to File > New Result Window -
If the on track activity is practice or qualifying then click on practice results which will sort the results by the best laptime, if the on track activity is a race then select current race results this will sort the results by track position.
After you get the result window open it will ask what you want to see in the window, check mark - POS > Car > Combined Name > Class > Laps >Last Laptime > Best Laptime - This should allow you to see all the information you need to see for timing and scoring.
If you see that the results don't make sense you probably have the wrong result box selected (i.e. Qualifying is on track and you have Race Results selected instead). All results shown on rmonitor are unofficial. Live timing on your laptop is only available with races that uses NCMP scoring system, STARS of Karting, WKA Nationals etc. bring their own scoring system so we can't have live results, KRA races will have live timing.
